Who are we and how did we get here?

I created The Aging Readiness Method^TM, after my parents passed away and was so impressed with how well all their affairs were organized. Their home and financial accounts we all held in trust for easy distribution between my sister and I. The left clear directions for how to handle financial accounts, charitable donations, and funeral arrangements — they left nothing to chance.

In speaking with friends and colleagues, I learned that most people are not prepared for real life changes to their parents. When faced with the challenge of a sick parent, most are not sure where to begin. That’s when I realized there is a community aching for a little direction.

We believe that home safety, important documents, emergency planning, and honest family communication shouldn’t be figured out for the first time in a hospital waiting room. Through a simple, guided system, we help families move from anxiety and uncertainty to clarity and confidence — so that when something does happen, they’re ready, not scrambling.
